Abstract Dr. Fred Soper joined the International Health Division of the Rockefeller Foundation in 1920 and engaged in the hookworm campaigns in Brazil and Paraguay (1920-1927). Grant L. Rasmussen was a neuroanatomist with the NIH's NINDB from 1954-1970. Among his most memorable contributions is his discovery and description of a nerve tract, called Rasmussen's Bundle, which is responsible for changing the sensitivity of the inner ear.

Dr. Harold Stewart became Chief of the Laboratory of Pathology, National Cancer Institute, in 1939, and was appointed chief of the Pathological Anatomy Department, National Institutes of Health, in 1954. He retired from NIH in 1969. Along with his longtime colleague Dr. Thelma Dunn, pioneered methods to induce cancer of the stomach and intestines in experimental animals.

Documentation consists of two different series. One series is comprised of 35 legal-sized mimeographed volumes (11,538 pages) containing the English transcript of the proceedings at the trial itself. The other series consists of 29 manuscript boxes containing mimeographed copies in German (and some English translations) of the documents used in the preparation of the trial.
